Understanding patients' profiles...
  • At the Clinic La Migraine, we use a structured migraine calender in order to document the frequency and intensity of cephalalgia (MIDI = Suffering Index) for each patient.
  • This page presents selected real, anonymized cases to illustrate the type of progress often observed with regular follow-up care.
  • Each graph represents:
    – Daily pain (blue)
    – Average pain over 7 days (orange)
    – Average pain over 30 days (green)
  • – Start of treatment (red)
  • We use a standardized mathematical formula, scaled to 100, to quantify the burden associated with migraines and headaches, taking into account both their intensity and their duration.
  • The number of migraines and headaches per month, as well as their intensity, corresponds to averages calcultated over the previous 30 days.
  • The MSQ (Migraine-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire) is a standard questionnaire used in many clinics in order to evaluate the impact from migraines on the patient’s quality of life.
  • The score is brought to 100: the lower the score, the bigger the impact migraines have on that person.
